When it seems as if the fabric of our daily lives is somehow dissolving away, the structure of our future becomes hazy and out of focus. Underlying the societal structure we have created, that can so easily and quickly lose its tangibality, is a world we have forgotten. A world we have written off, that we have deemed less important than our buildings and money; the natural world.
Almost none of us remember how to live in harmony with nature, little lone survive in it without modern conveniences. Yet, it has been there this whole time keeping together the true foundation of our existence, and we take it for granted.
Now with the possibility of the natural order forcibly pulling us back into line, it's important to look past the haze of uncertainty and see that the elements of our natural world are still there, always in focus. Get to know them, for they allowed us to create this empire of metal and electricity, and now our abuse of them may bring it all down. We need to remember where we came from, and we need to remember that if we don't treat the fundamental structure of our natural world with respect, it will awaken us from this dream with a snap of the fingers.
